Story Expo 2022- Speaker Submissions
Screenwriters, TV Writers, Novelists, Producers, Directors, Filmmakers, Graphic Novelists, Animators & More

We are always looking for great, innovative and unique speakers who teach and speak on the art, craft or business of storytelling. Whether it's for film, TV, books, or any other medium or field where stories are used, Story Expo is always open to having new presenters at their Los Angeles and New York conferences.

Our courses run 75-90 minutes long, and we have a diverse group of professionals from around the world who attend each conference. Our audience runs the gamut from first time writers to experienced screenwriters, TV writers and novelists, however we tend to draw a more professional industry-working crowd. We do not present "teaser" courses (meaning your Story Expo session shouldn't be a 90-minute live commercial for another class you teach), and we ask that the classes be packed with valuable information that will help and advance the student's knowledge and understanding of the craft. However, you are permitted to had out your business cards, flyers, etc. in the last 5 minutes of the class to promote your other classes, consultation services, etc., as well as directly sell any books or products you may have. If you'd like to write an article for the Story Expo conference program, you'll also receive a complimentary 1/4-page ad in the program for your classes or services.
